Contour Kit - E.L.F. Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder

The E.L.F. Contouring Kit in Blushed and Bronzed is one of my all-time favorite products. In fact, it is my absolute favorite bronzer-blush combo. I've used it everyday since I bought it late last year. I use it to carve out my cheekbones and make my face appear thinner than it really is. Yes, such measures are necessary. For me, at least, I cannot go a day without it.

I did not always feel this way. When I first opened the kit, I was extremely disappointed by the poor packaging. The mirror on the reverse side of the cover fell out. Though I was able to glue it back on I though, "How good can the product be with such lousy packaging?" I was pleased to find that the packaging did not reflect the quality of the product.

The bronzer has a natural finish. The color is very wearable and works well on my freakishly fair skin. The most significant feature that I would like to point out is that, unlike most bronzers, this one does not get muddy as the day wears on. The color also does not noticeably fade after a few hours. Perfect for those who, like me, do not have the time to make frequent trips to the restroom to reapply their make-up.

The blush also impressed me. It has a gold hue to it. It also has small glitter particles that help give the cheeks a rosy glow. The color and finish is perfect for the summer.

Other than the poor packaging of the E.L.F. Contouring Kit, I have very little to complain about. As soon as I run out, I will be sure to hit the nearest department store to get a new one.

The E.L.F. Contouring Kit is a steal at Php 249.75.

'til next time,
Maite

    1. I know what you mean. It is for most people. But I am really fair so it works pretty well with my skintone. Ü

  2. Ooh, that's very pretty! I was contemplating buying this just 2 days ago before I bite the bullet and buy the Nars one. Mm.

    1. I've heard so many good things about the NARS one! Way out of my price range though.
